SYSTEMATIC PHYSICAL TRAINING IN FIGURE SKATING ATHLETES

چکیده

ABSTRACT Introduction: Youngsters are an important source of reserve strength among short-speed skaters, so it is necessary to perform special training for young lower limb muscles while improving athletes’ endurance and physical function. Objective: Study the systematic development speed skating athletes. Methods: The author uses method experimentation mathematical statistics, first level male athletes were selected as experimental objects, double-blind test was used conduct a comparative study through experiments. Results: Statistically, T-test considerations control groups in unipodal take-off stand bilateral sliding jump tests showed statistical differences (P>0.05). comparison group pre post-intervention indicates that group's performance this item increased significantly after training(P<0.05). Conclusion: adaptation entry-level trainers scientific concept played auxiliary role results by increasing emphasis on small muscle training. Level evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation treatment outcomes.

Performing triple and quadruple figure skating jumps: implications for training.

The purpose of this paper is to review the biomechanics of triple and quadruple figure skating jumps, focusing on information that has implications for strength and conditioning programs. At a minimum, to complete the required revolutions in a jump, a skater must balance the average angular velocity with the time in the air. Vertical velocity at takeoff is similar in high revolution jumps to th...

Aggregation of Rankings in Figure Skating

We scrutinize and compare, from the perspective of modern theory of social choice, two rules that have been used to rank competitors in Figure Skating for the past decades. The first rule has been in use at least from 1982 until 1998, when it was replaced by a new one. We also compare these two rules with the Borda and the Kemeny rules. The four rules are illustrated with examples and with the ...

Social choice, optimal inference and figure skating

We approach the social choice problem as one of optimal statistical inference. If individual voters or judges observe the true order on a set of alternatives with error, then it is possible to use the set of individual rankings to make probability statements about the correct social order. Given the posterior distribution for orders and a suitably-chosen loss function, an optimal order is one t...

Training Athletes with a Physical Disability

For most sports and a majority of ablebodied athletes, there are seven stages of LTAD from Active Start through to Training to Win, plus Active for Life, as illustrated in Figure 1. The ages shown are appropriate for athletes with congenital disabilities, but do not apply to individuals with acquired disabilities. Those who acquire disabilities still need to make an Active Start and should lear...

Outlier Aversion in Evaluating Performance: Evidence from Figure Skating

Outlier Aversion in Evaluating Performance: Evidence from Figure Skating The quality of subjective performance evaluation is dependent on the incentive structures faced by evaluators, in particular on how they are monitored and themselves evaluated. Figure skating competitions provide a unique opportunity to study subjective evaluation. This paper develops and tests a simple model of what I cal...
